Lalaine - aka Lali - is an artist straddling illustration and design with work that explores identity, socio-political commentary and colour.
Since deciding to pursue a creative career, her background in social justice law and startups have been influential in her work. And after spending two years successfully kick starting her drastic career change in Melbourne, she has returned to the UK as a self-taught artist with skills in digital design and illustration, fine art painting, and handmade crafts.
Currently, her self-directed work includes digital illustrations and craft products that combine marbling techniques, painting and illustration. She also runs a bespoke art service including tattoo design and portraits. But more interestingly, she has a ‘Personal Art’ service in which she creates a unique, original piece from a face-to-face interview with the commissioner.
Currently open for commissions.
